Farzana Baduel wins Women Of Colour Award

Managing Director and Founder of Curzon PR, Farzana Baduel, has been presented with the Women of Colour Achievement Award by the Women Presidents�۪ Organisation, in association with the 100 Black Men of London, on Thursday 29th October 2015.

The ceremony was held at the London Tower Hotel, St. Katherine�۪s Dock, for female entrepreneurs of Black and Ethnic Minority origin in the UK.

The award is presented to a female business owner who creates and sustains employment opportunities at a local, regional and national level, particularly for other women and employees of Black and ethnic minority origin. Having teamed up with initiatives such as Creative Access, which aims to fill the disparity of ethnic minorities in the creative industries, Farzana has proven herself to be a passionate advocate for diversity in business.

Farzana was identified as the winner by the Women Presidents�۪ Organisation and 100 Black Men of London. Selection criteria include the successful operation of a woman-owned or led business that are either product or service-based companies.

The Women Presidents�۪ Organisation is the ultimate affiliation for successful female entrepreneurs worldwide. In monthly meetings across the world, women from diverse industries invest time and energy in themselves and their businesses to drive their corporations to the next level.

This latest accolade is the third award Farzana has achieved within the last 12 months, having won Media Professional of the Year at the 2014 Asian Media Awards, and Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2015 Asian Women of Achievement Awards.
