Farooque Sheikh passes away aged 65

Just weeks after the release of his film ‘Club 60’, Farooque Sheikh has passed away after suffering a heart attack, aged 65.

Sheikh, who was most remembered for his role in 1981’s ‘Umrao Jaan’ and ‘Chashme Buddoor’, was also seen earlier this year in ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ in the role of Ranbir Kapoor’s father.

Sheikh was in Dubai at the time of his untimely death.
