Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Wazir’ shoot stalled

'Wazir' starring Big B & Farhan Akhtar

Farhan Akhtar is busy with his upcoming three releases, one of which is ‘Wazir,’ produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani. One of the shooting locations was the scenic Kashmir, but Akhtar and co-star Manav Kaul’s shoot was stalled because of the weather conditions.

According to Mid-Day, Akhtar and Kaul were shooting in Dal Lake, when it started snowing, and the shoot was delayed by two days. The initial shoot was supposed to be for five to six days, but the team decided to wait out the two days and complete the schedule, before going back to Mumbai. A source said, “Yes, there was heavy snowfall and the weather was really bad in Kashmir. The shoot had to be stopped for 2 days and then we had only 2 days to finish the shoot. But we managed to finish the shoot and come back.”

Akhtar’s next film is the much anticipated ‘Dil Dhadakne Do,’ directed by sister Zoya, who earlier directed him in ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ (2011).
