Farhan Akhtar remains one of the most multi-talented artistes in Bollywood currently. However, the actor and his wife announced their separation earlier this year and it seems that his professional life has also been affected somewhat.
It seems Akhtar’s commercial value has decreased due to the breakdown of his marriage. According to Absolute India, a few brands were looking at collaborating with Akhtar but have now changed their minds. “Brands often decide a celebrity for their product depending on the image they have created in the market. They always prefer those celebrities to be the face of their brands who are not into any type of controversies. After Farhan۪s split with wife Adhuna, the actor was linked with many actresses and this has probably put the brands in two minds whether to reconsider their association with Farhan,” said a source.
The source added, “A popular bank and a water purifier brand are reconsidering their association with Farhan. These two brands are apparently not too keen to take forward their contract further with Farhan”.
Akhtar will be seen next in ‘Rock On 2’.
