Farhan Akhtar to style own look for ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’

Farhan Akhtar is a man of many talents, many will agree. However, he is ready to add something else to his list of abilities as BizAsia has learnt that he will be styling himself in the forthcoming ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ which is going to be directed by his sister Zoya.

It is thought that in discussions with his sister about his character’s look in the film, Akhtar discovered that his own look fit in well with the role. This was when Akhtar decided to look at his own wardrobe for inspiration. A source told Deccan Chronicle, “When Farhan met the stylist for measurements and heard the styling brief for DDD, he realised that the way the character dressed was very close to his personal sense of style. He mentioned this to the team and asked them if they would like to go through his personal wardrobe and handpick/choose clothes. The team agreed, and in a way Farhan ended up styling his own look!”

‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ will see Akhtar opposite Priyanka Chopra. The film has just gone on the floors with a multi starcast – Anushka Sharma, Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah. Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment are producing the movie.
