Farhan Akhtar to sing in ‘The Fakir Of Venice’?

Farhan Akhtar is a multi-talented man as we know, and one of his main loves is to sing. Akhtar who has previously sang for his own films such as, ‘Rock On’ (2008), ‘Rock On 2’ (2016)  and ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ (2015), is rumoured to get back in the recording studio for his next ‘The Fakir Of Venice’.

Reported in the Deccan Chronicle, producer Punit Desai said although nothing has been confirmed he is trying to get Akhtar on board. “While the song is being made right now, we are trying to collaborate with Farhan for it… We haven’t received any confirmation yet, but we’re trying our best.”

The song in mind will be a promotional track and would go hand-in-hand when Akhtar set out to promote the film. “It will be a promotional song. If Farhan’s dates work out, then we will have a video, which will also feature him and A.R. Rahman in it. It’s in an initial stage right now, though.”

‘The Fakir of Venice’ was shot before the release of ‘Rock On 2’ (2016). The film is said to be inspired by filmmaker Homi Adajania’s real life experiences during his travel. It also stars Annu Kapoor and Kamal Sidhu.
