Farhan Akhtar & Naseeruddin Shah’s spat over ‘Inside Edge 2’?

Veteran star Naseeruddin Shah and Farhan Akhtar, who helms Excel Entertainment, have reportedly got into a tiff over the second season of web-series ‘Inside Edge’.

Deccan Chronicle reports that Akhtar wanted Shah to work in the digital show for free, however, he had already done free work for him in the film ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’.

A source told the publication, “Naseeruddin worked in ‘ZNMD’ for free and he shares a great rapport with Excel Entertainment but when he was offered a pivotal role in their web series ‘Inside Edge 2’, it turned out to be a nightmare for Naseer. He was asked to work for free in the web series to which actor wasn’t ready and he backed out.”

The new series of ‘Inside Edge’ is expected to hit the tube next year.
