Farhan Akhtar to join Priyanka Chopra for ‘The Sky Is Pink’ after London trip?

Priyanka Chopra was recently confirmed for Shonali Bose’s next ‘The Sky Is Pink’, with news now that Farhan Akhtar will be joining the actress on the shoot soon.

Akhtar, who is currently in London for the press announcement of his UK tour, will play the male lead opposite Chopra. The film also stars Zaira Wasim, who is currently undergoing preparations for the film at a workshop along with Chopra, according to Deccan Chronicle.

“The prep will go on for a while after which they will lock on the shooting date depending on the actors’ schedules. Mostly it will begin before Priyanka starts shooting for the Salman Khan period drama, ‘Bharat’. The actors are really excited,” the source told Mumbai Mirror.

“This is an absolutely true story and very close to my heart. I’m having a mind blowing time workshopping with my incredible cast,” said Bose.
