Farhan Akhtar & Abhishek Kapoor set to reunite after ‘Rock On’?

After the success of ‘Rock On’ (2008), Farhan Akhtar and Abhishek Kapoor are rumoured to be reuniting for a new project.

Kapoor who filed a case against the producers for not getting writing credit for ‘Rock On 2’, has apparently approached Akhtar to direct a film for him written by Javed Akhtar.

A source told DNA India, “Farhan and Abhishek’s collaboration won them a National Award. They made a great team. It won’t be a surprise if the two come together soon. Farhan and Ritesh Sidhwani want Abhishek to direct the film. Though not much is known at this stage, the two recently met Abhishek to discuss the film with him. They are keen that he directs the film as they feel the subject is something that would be very apt for him.”

Kapoor is currently shooting for ‘Kedarnath’ starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan.
