Farhad Samji reveals possibility of ‘Judwaa 3’

2017’s ‘Judwaa 2’ was a a reboot of ‘Judwaa’ a decade after its release. Now, there’s buzz about a third instalment and writer Farhad Samji has recently talked about the possibility.

“Judwaa 3 needs a good story, the idea has to have a lot of potential. For instance, there was a seven-year gap between two Golmaal films because we didn’t find an idea that was good enough to take the franchise forward. It’s the same case here. We can’t just go around making a film because a producer like Sajid Nadiadwala trusts us. As a writer and as a filmmaker, it’s my responsibility to ensure we don’t make a film for the heck of it,” said Samji, according to Filmfare.

Samji is also writing the remake of ‘Coolie No 1’ (1995) which was announced earlier this week, confirming Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan coming together.
