Farhad Samji on Vicky Kaushal being considered for ‘Veeram’ remake

2014’s ‘Veeram’ is rumoured to be getting a remake in Bollywood and recent rumours suggested that Vicky Kaushal could be lead actor, as reported by BizAsiaLive.com recently.

The film will apparently be directed by duo Sajid-Farhad. The latter recently spoke about Kaushal being considered for the male lead part. According to New Indian Express, he said, “Who wouldn’t want to work with him, he’s such a sweet boy. I’ve a good association with his father, Shyam Kaushal, who has done the action for ‘Housefull’. If everything falls in place, if the lord opens the door, we will make an entry.”

Farhad was unsure whether the film, apparently titled ‘LOL: Land of Lungi’, would be the next project he works on but he confirmed that it will be happening at some point.

Kaushal has a few films in his kitty at the moment, including ‘Bhoot’ which will mark Dharma Productions first step into the world of horror comedy.
