With more and more remakes gracing the silver screens, it seems Farah Khan has her work cut out for her planned remake of ‘Satte Pe Satta’ (1982). News has it that her first choice Hrithik Roshan is having second thoughts, so Khan is looking to close friend Shah Rukh Khan to stand in instead.
According to Pinkvilla, Roshan wasn’t too pleased with the first draft of the script where he then became a little hesitant about filling the shoes of Amitabh Bachchan. Despite not giving a firm “no”, Khan seems to want to keep her options open and ensure she can get the ball rolling, by having Khan as her back-up.
Still interested in the role however, further news reports that Roshan is set to have a second draft this month where he will then make his decision. His last outing was ‘War’ (2019) sharing the screen with Tiger Shroff. The film was received well by audiences.
