Farah Khan to sign SRK for next?

As a director Farah Khan is known to go above and beyond with her larger than life films. With her women-centric project currently put on hold, rumour has it that she’s working on another script and has non other than Shah Rukh Khan in mind for the lead.

King Khan has been the protagonist in most of Khan’s directorials, all of which have done extremely well at the box office. As DNA reports, a source revealed, “Farah’s currently sitting with her scriptwriters on another story which will star Shah Rukh. All their films together have been blockbuster hits and Farah is known to do big budget, larger-than-life extravaganzas.”

“The one with SRK will be a typical Farah Khan film with lavish songs and grand locales. It’s a rom-com, which is their forte. People are assuming it’s a sequel to ‘Main Hoon Naa’ (2004), but it’s a different story,” they went on to add.

The director’s previous script was said to star Parineeti Chopra and Alia Bhatt, however it seems, this one will have to wait, as the source went on to explain, “The small budget movie with two actresses was taking time as Alia is busy with her films and Farah couldn’t start hers. It was to begin this year, but has already got delayed.”
