Manushi Chhillar who was crowned Miss World 2017, may be set to make her Bollywood debut in Farah Khan’s next.
Reported on International Business Times, Khan who is looking to make her first biopic, is keen on launching Chhillar as her female lead, but who will be the male lead is still unknown. Details about the film have not emerged either, but a source shared how Khan feels Chhillar should be on the big screens. “Farah Khan is quite impressed with Manushi Chhillar and thinks that she should be venturing into Bollywood. She too has considered the offer. As for Farah, she is quite excited about tapping into this unexplored genre of biopic.”
There were speculations before that maybe Karan Johar would be launching the beauty queen, but it seems Khan is taking her under her wing instead. After winning the Miss World 2017 contest, Chhillar said she would keep Bollywood as an option, but has always shown her interest in pursuing a medical career.
If Chhillar does embark on her own Bollywood journey, then she will be following in the footsteps of the likes of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sushmita Sen, who have both made their mark in the industry.
