Farah Khan to judge ZEE TV’s ‘DID Lil Masters’

ZEE TV has confirmed that it is in talks with film director and choreographer, Farah Khan to appear as a judge on new reality show, ‘Dance India Dance Lil Masters’.

The spin-off show to the original ‘Dance India Dance’ series will feature children aged between 5 and 13 years old to compete for the title as India’s best dancer.

If Farah accepts, she will then be seen in two avatars on the show – one as judge and the second as Grandmaster, which Mithun Chakraborty usually dons the role of.

Farah has previously been associated on Sony Entertainment Television Asia shows, ‘Indian Idol’ and ‘Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega’.

Another choreographer, Sandip Soparrkar has already been confirmed as judge on the same show.

‘Dance India Dance Lil Masters’ is also said to include four contestants from ‘Dance India Dance’ Seasons 1 and 2, who will play mentor to the children. Final format details are yet to be unveiled by the channel.

‘Dance India Dance’ current series will end on Saturday 1st May in the UK. The ‘Lil Masters’ series is expected to start the following week on Saturday 8th May.
