Farah Khan says actresses are paid what they deserve

There have been many Bollywood actresses who have stood up and said that they still face gender inequality when it comes to their paychecks. However, director-choreographer Farah Khan disagrees, and says that all actors are getting paid what they deserve.

Khan told the Hindustan Times, “You get paid what you deserve, according to the money that your movie generates. I get much more than a lot of male directors and I also get less than some. But I get paid what I deserve and what I ask for. I feel it’s a business model. Today if Shah Rukh Khan or Salman (Khan) generates RS 300 crore, they will not be paid the same as a heroine, who generates RS 50 crore. It’s also about too many people wanting to copy Hollywood.”

Khan last choreographed the recently released��’Gerua’ track from��’Diwale’ ��filmed on Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in Iceland.
