Farah Khan to produce “girl power” web-series

Choreographer-filmmaker Farah Khan has stated that she may turn a film that she was planning to make on girl power into a web-series.

Khan had previously told IANS in an interview that she was planning to make a film with “girl power” as the main theme. She went onto say this film would be more “real”, contrasting her previous Bollywood masala films such as blockbusters like ‘Main Hoon Na’ (2004).

IANS reveals that in a recent chat in relation to the girl power film, Khan said “No. May turn that into a web-series. I don’t know but I’ll start writing a script now as soon as ‘Lip Sing Battle’ shoot is done.”

Khan is currently hosting ‘Lip Sing Battle’, an Indian version of the popular international show ‘Lip Sync Battle’ which features bigwigs from Bollywood, television and sports taking part.
