Farah Khan on Kangna Ranaut playing the “woman card”

What do choreographer-director Farah Khan and actress Kangna Ranaut both have in common? They are both known for speaking their minds. ‘Gangster’ (2006) actress Ranaut is making headlines for her recent fiery interview on TV show, ‘Aap Ki Adalat’.

At the launch of Khan’s upcoming TV show, ‘Lip Sing Battle’, she told NBT that she didn’t want to get caught in the middle, however hinting that Ranaut was playing the ‘woman card’. Khan said, “What would you have done if the man had sent the pictures and would have spoken like the woman! In that case, the man would have been bashed and may have been sent to jail. If something is not acceptable for a man, then why for a woman?”

She went onto say, “Personally I have never faced any gender related issues. These matters should be taken very seriously as there are many women who are actually facing grave problems. And in such situations, the real women-related issues are lost in the puddle.”
