Farah Khan breathes a sigh of relief

As the promos of ‘Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi’ hit our screens, the anticipation for its release seems to grow. Choreographer-turned-director Farah Khan, who makes her acting debut in the film, was not so optimistic about the film and neither were her friends or family.

“Before the promo came, my friends and brother were laughing at me. In fact my brother joked a lot about Boman and me. He had made a long joke book about Shirin Farhad. He said it would be a single screen film,” NDTV reports��Khan saying.��She had earlier expressed doubts in her own��acting skills, stating how she never wants to act again after this film.

Khan then went on to express her change in��thought once the promo of the film did come out, “After seeing the promos, the reaction has been stupendous. It is unbelievable. Actresses, actors, my industry friends and normal people have been telling me that they are dying to see the film.”

Due to release later this year, ‘Shirin Farhad Toh Nikal Padi’ will also mark Bela Bhansali Sehgal’s directorial debut, and will see Boman Irani as Khan’s love interest.
