Fans take to Twitter to express anger over ‘KRPKAB’ end

Fans of Sony Entertainment Television’s popular show ‘Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi’ have been left shocked after a decision was taken on Friday to shutdown the series later this month.

As revealed first on , lead actress of the show Erica Fernandes confirmed the show was going off-air on Friday 25th August. Actor Shaheer Sheikh took to Twitter on Sunday to post an emotional message. He said, “How much i m gonna miss dev and the bond I share with everyone on the sets of #KRPKAB”.

Since the news emerged, fans in their droves have been trending “DontEndKRPKAB” on Twitter, which since last night stood at over 200,000 tweets, with another 180,000 retweets and over 7,000 replies. Fans have also been left angry at the way the channel has decided to end the show to make way for ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. It was only a few days ago that it had emerged the show was to move to 22:00, with fellow show ‘Beyhadh’ going off-air. However, the decision was reversed with ‘Beyhadh’ getting an extension and moving to 22:00, whilst ‘Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi’ getting the chop.

‘Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi’ has proved a huge success on Sony TV, not only in India but in UK ratings, the show was constantly inside the Top 3 on the channel.
