The trailer of Luv Ranjan’s upcoming release ‘De De Pyaar De’ has received much appreciation by a fans, however, there is another section of the audience that has slammed Ajay Devgn for the inclusion of Alok Nath in the film.

Fans have expressed their dismay on social media about Devgn working with Nath despite #MeToo allegations surrounding the veteran actor.

#MeTooIndia Twitter said, “While women continue to be disbelieved, ridiculed and shoved back into silence, men accused of sexual violence continue to find work. @ajaydevgn @itsBhushanKumar I hope you know Alok Nath has been accused of rape and an FIR filed. Disgusting that he’s part of De De Pyar De.”

Nath was accused by writer Vinta Nanda for sexual misconduct in the 90s. When Devgn was asked about the collaboration with Nath, he dodged the question by saying, “This is not the right place to talk about it and the film’s shoot was completed way before the allegations surfaced against the person.”

‘De De Pyaar De’ releases on 17th May 2019.
