Fans express anger after Neha Kakkar arrives three-hours late at Melbourne concert
Fans have expressed their frustration with Neha Kakkar after the singer arrived three hours late for a performance, only to break down in tears on stage and apologise for the delay.
A video of the incident has since gone viral, with some fans criticising the singer. Addressing the audience, Kakkar said, “You are all so sweet for being patient. You have been waiting for so long, and I hate it. I have never made anyone wait like this in my life.”
However, her apology did little to pacify the crowd. One attendee shouted, “Go back! Rest in your hotel,” while others vented their frustration, saying, “We have been waiting for three hours.”
Some social media users pointed out that this was not an isolated incident, with one commenting, “She was late even in Sydney.” Another noted, “And yet, she performed non-stop for 2.5 hours until 10:30 pm!” Meanwhile, another remarked, “Artists need to be taught to respect showtime.”
