Fans call on makers to release Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film ‘Dil Bechara’ at cinemas

It was recently revealed that Mukesh Chhabra’s upcoming film ‘Dil Bechara’ starring the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput, will be releasing directly on a digital platform.

The film, which also has Sanjana Sanghi in the lead, is a remake of ‘The Fault In Our Stars’. Since the demise of Rajput, fans have been calling on the makers to cancel its digital premiere on Hotstar and release it at cinemas, as initially planned.

Today, fans have trended #DilBecharaOnBigScreen on social media in India. The trend also includes Hotstar, Fox Star India and Chhabra’s handle tags.

It is said that Hotstar was to announce the premiere of ‘Hotstar’ on its platform this week but has been delayed in wake of Rajput’s passing away.
