Fan receives Rs. 15k in compensation from YRF over ‘Jabra Fan’ song?

A Bollywood fan reportedly received Rs. 15,000 in compensation from Yash Raj Films as the song ‘Jabra Fan’ from the Shah Rukh Khan film ‘Fan’ (2016) was missing in the final cut.

Bollywood Hungama reports that Afreen Zaidi filed the complaint with District Consumer Forum in Aurangabad. Apparently, the circuit bench of the Maharashtra State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission directed the production giant to pay Rs 15,000 to Zaidi. This included Rs. 10,000 for mental harassment and a further Rs. 5,000 for the cost of the complaint.

Yash Raj Films is yet to officially comment on the story.
