Faizal Siddiqui apologises after being accused of promoting acid attack

Social media artist Faizal Siddiqui allegedly recently posted a video to promote acid attack and, since then, demand for deleting his account has been growing daily.

The video showed the artist threatening a girl, who left him for another man and threw liquid potion on her face, which is being implied as acid. Later on, the girl’s face is shown with heavy makeup, which is compared to acid burns, reports Times of India.

People on social media have asked the police officials to take strict action against Siddiqui and his online account as they feel he is glorifying acid attack on women.

Siddiqui, in reply, said that the allegations made against him are baseless and he’s being judged over the edited video. His statement said, “My Intention was never to hurt anyone in any Capacity. As a social media influencer, I realize my responsibility and apologize to anyone who was offended by the video.”

Siddiqui is Amir Siddiqui’s brother, and has 13.4 million followers on Tik Tok.
