EXCLUSIVE: ZEE Cinema to don new look this month

BizAsia.co.uk��can exclusively confirm that ZEE Cinema will be undergoing a makeover this month with a complete new feel.

Whilst details at this moment in time are unclear,BizAsia.co.uk��understands that the channel’s new look will be hitting screens at the end of this month.

The new look will include fresh new graphics, channel idents and bumpers. The main logo is expected to remain the same as it had only been changed summer last year as part of the group’s rebranding exercise.

Channel executives have been working on the new look for several months on the back of hit movie acquisitions recently. The network holds rights to big movie titles including ‘Agneepath’, ‘Don 2’, ‘Desi Boyz’, ‘Agent Vinod’, ‘Heroine’, ‘Joker’ and ‘Barfee’.

It is likely ZEE Cinema will rebrand on Saturday 31st March to coincide with the huge World TV Premiere of ‘Don 2’ in India, however this has not yet been confirmed by the broadcaster.
