EXCLUSIVE: ZEE Cine Awards ’06 nominations

Biz Asiahas come up trumps with another world exclusive!

This time we have been handed over details of the nominations for ZEE Cine Awards ’06 before anyone else. As already exclusively revealed weeks ago here on Biz Asia, this year’s much awaited ceremony takes place in the beautiful surroundings of Mauritius.

The ZEE Cine Awards will take place on Saturday 4th March at shown Live on ZEE TV India. The event is scheduled to be shown in the UK on Sunday 5th March, however, channels officials in the UK were unable to confirm this until nearer the time.

With the STAR Screen Awards out the picture and the Filmfare Awards to take place in February, the ZEE Cine Awards this year promise to be the biggest ever. Even though bosses at ZEE Network are remaining tight-lipped about the stars attending the event, it will no doubt outshine the huge celeb list that attended the ZEE Cine Awards in the UK last year. We will keep you posted on the event. In the meantime, we’ll give you an insight into the nominations for each category.
