EXCLUSIVE: Vectone to launch seventh channel

The Vectone bouquet is expanding quite rapidly, with the announcement of yet another channel launch – its seventh!

The network, which currently already boasts of six regional channels including two Bengali channels, a Tamil, Punjabi, Urdu and a Sinhalese will be teaming up with Pakistani broadcaster Uni+ for the forthcoming channel.

The channel titled Vectone Uni+ will go live on Sky Digital on Monday 5th December and will stream shows live from Uni+’s base in Lahore. Some programmes will also be shown live from Vectone’s London studios. Uni+ is an existing service and broadcasts in Urdu/Punjabi in Asia.

Staying with Vectone news, it has also been confirmed that Vectone’s last launch Vectone Sinhal will be moving to EPG 831 this Monday (31st October). It currently sits on EPG 696 as it replaced shopping channel Vectone Mall last month.
