EXCLUSIVE: Sabras Radio expands to London

East Midland’s most listened to Asian radio station Sabras Radio will soon be spreading its wings to the capital, it has been revealed exclusively to Biz Asia.

According to a close source at the station, Sabras Radio has finalised a deal with London’s Spectrum Radio, which will expand the Leicester based station’s listenership to London and other parts of the south.

Sabras Radio, which can be currently listened to via 1260AM, DAB digital radio and online will also be unleashing a new schedule to target a younger audience. The changes comes into effect from 1st July, days before the station celebrates ten years of broadcasting.

Spectrum Radio broadcasts from the heart of London to the capital and the South East of England on 558AM to a potential audience of over 13 million people. As part of the changes, Sabras Radio will be heard in London on 558AM with selected shows on Sky Digital via Spectrum Radio’s stream.
