Exclusive: Rakhi Sawant to produce films

The eccentric and loud-mouthed Rakhi Sawant has exclusively told BizAsia that she has set up her own production company to produce films.

Talking to Raj Baddhan on his radio show, Sawant said, “I will be producing films in Hindi, Bhojpuri, Bengali and Marathi under my new production company.”

She remained tight-lipped on the type of films she was working on. She added that an announcement will be made in due course about her films. She did confirm that she was not going to star in the films herself but instead just work as a producer.

Sawant will next be seen on Star Life Ok’s show ‘Welcome’ – the Indian version of ‘Come Dine With Me’ next week.
