EXCLUSIVE: New soap replaces Kareena on ZEE

ZEE TV is letting go of its daily light drama Kareena Kareena in a bid to spruce up programming before the festive season.

The decision comes as Kareena Kareena has been faltering in the ratings and also been on a tangent with a number of storylines, which have failed to grab eyeballs. A last ditch attempt is being made to revive the drama. The new twist could possibly be a wedding between Kareena and Tushar. Isn?t that something everyone?s been waiting for? If that happens, what?s left in the soap?

The channel will be airing its new soap Saat Phera (previously titled Rang) in late October/early November when Kareena Kareena goes off air. ZEE TV is also re-launching Hum Paanch, the successful comedy from the Balaji Telefilms camp.
