NDTV 24×7 has exclusively informed Biz Asiaabout its official launch on Sky Digital next week.
The popular Asian news channel from India will launch on the Sky EPG this Monday (21st November)on Sky EPG channel number 543. As the number suggests, NDTV 24×7 will be located in the News genre of the Sky EPG.
The channel will be available free-to-view and will be sold as part of the News & Events Mix package on Sky. This then means that NDTV 24×7 will be joining rival Asian news channel STAR News in the monthly package. However, STAR News remains to be the only Hindi speaking channel available free-to-view on a monthly package.
NDTV 24×7 has been testing off the Sky EPG at 10.921(H), 22.000, 5/6 under the label “5021”.
Also to note, after the new Sky channel line-up, NDTV 24×7 has confirmed that it will be moving to EPG 513. The EPG move takes place in January. Full details about the new channel line-up can be found here.
