EXCLUSIVE: More ‘Bigg Boss’ details emerge

Details of the much awaited reality TV show on Indian television ‘Bigg Boss’ are emerging on a daily basis. We bring you more.

According to UK channel bosses, ‘Bigg Boss’ will be hosted by film actor Arshad Warsi. Earlier there were talks of Warsi being a part of the action inside the house as housemate.

The programme begins on Friday 3rd November on Sony Entertainment Television Asia. A daily 30-minute highlights capsule will air Monday – Thursday at 22:00. A housemate will be evicted from the house every Friday night in an hour long ‘live’ eviction show at 21:00. The schedule is similar to that of ‘Big Brother’, which in the UK is shown on Channel 4.

Sony TV remains tight-lipped about the celebs entering the house. A close source has told BizAsia.co.uk that a former Miss World is in the running to be a part of the first ‘Bigg Boss’. Speculation is rife that Bollywood actress and ex-Miss World Yookta Mookhey could be one name we could be seeing walking into the house on the 3rd of November.

Rumours doing the rounds also suggest a former Indian Prime Minister, several soap stars, plus a handful of cricketers will be forming the list of celebs for the first series.

Indian tabloid Mid-Day has previously reported four names being a part of the show including item dance girl Rakhi Sawant, Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kissen, Karan Wahi and Vinod Kambli.
