EXCLUSIVE: B4U grabs rights to Lucky & Bewaffa

Not one to take it lying down, B4U Movies has fought back by announcing exclusively to Biz Asiathat it has acquired this year’s two huge hit movies.

The news follows Sony Entertainment Television Asia’s recent YashRaj movie rights scoop and ZEE Network’s Swades, Karam and Kisna exclusive movie deal. The channel, which was going through a quiet phase has made a comeback by acquiring the rights to blockbusters Lucky and Bewaffa.

?Viewers can look forward to enjoying Bewaffa, starring Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor and the recent Salman Khan flick, Lucky-No time for love in the comfort of their homes within the coming months. Incidentally it was only a couple of days ago ZEE Network disclosed to Biz Asia that it too also has acquired the rights to Bewaffa. With both channels lining up the Boney Kapoor romantic hit, it all remains to be seen who will premiere the movie first.
