Ex-Radio XL sales manager Sukhjinder Ghatoare has joined Channel Punjab as sales and development manager after a thirteen-year stint at the Birmingham based Asian radio station.
At Radio XL, Sukhjinder also controlled the programming output and events. He left the station March-end and joined Channel Punjab earlier this month.
Jas Derewal (C.E.O Channel Punjab) says, “I was sitting with Sukhjinder one day discussing the media business, I felt that he wasn’t fulfilling his potential, he had so much to offer. We share the same vision of Channel Punjab. Channel Punjab has so much to offer to every Punjabi in the world.”
Sukhjinder Singh says, “It was a hard decision to make after thirteen years with Radio XL. I look forward to the challenges that lay ahead.
I’m sure every day will be exciting as it always is in the media profession, never the less it is my job to ensure Channel Punjab reaches every Punjabi worldwide.”
Sukhjinder will be put to the test of developing Channel Punjab from strength to strength, as it is launching in Canada this month via V.O.D and IP Star while strengthening UK and Europe operations.
Radio XL has begun on-air promotions to advertise the position left vacant by Sukhjinder.
