The body of former ‘EastEnders’ star Paul Bhattacharjee has been found, a week after it went missing.
The 53-year old actor who was also known as Gautam Paul Bhattacharjee was last seen leaving rehearsals at the Royal Court Theatre in London last Wednesday night. He had sent a text message to his girlfriend but she had not back from him since then.
The Mirror reports that Bhattacharjee’s body was found near cliffs in Seaford, East Sussex on Friday. However, it was only identified today formally, with his next of kin being informed.
today reports that Sussex Police told their Met Police counterparts that the body of a man matching Mr Bhattarcharjee’s description had been found near cliffs in Seaford, East Sussex, on Friday. His death is not being treated as suspicious.
Bhattacharjee also starred in ‘Casino Royal’, ‘The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’, ‘White Teeth’ and ‘Dirty Pretty Things’. He appeared in ‘EastEnders’ playing Inzamam between 2008 and 2010.
