Former BritBox US chief, Soumya Sriraman has been hired by Amazon Prime Video to oversee its US channels business.
Sriraman replaces Daniel Brown, who held the role for the past two years. She will lead channel operations of Starz, Showtime and HBO.
She left BritBox in North America recently after three years in the role. She led BritBox US operations to success notching up 1.5 million subscribers in the US and Canada.
