Ex-BOL TV Kamran Khan joins Dunya News

Ex BOL TV President, Kamran Khan has joined Dunya Media Group as President and Editor-In-Chief.

The news emerged via Khan’s Twitter account today. He said, “It’s an honor and great pleasure to announce that I’ve joined the prestigious Dunya Media Group as its President and Editor-in-Chief. My reason : Dunya far from internal media war no controversies no allegations truly independent pure Pakistani and hiring Bol media workers.”

The news will be seen as a major blow to rival Pakistani news broadcasters who have been luring Khan to join them. Yesterday, ARY Network went out in public to express support for journalists working at BOL TV. The parent company (Axact) of the yet-to-launch channel, has been embroiled in controversy over an alleged fake degree scam.

Dunya News recently launched in the UK on the Sky Digital platform.
