Esha Gupta bags ‘Commando 2’

For some time, makers of the ‘Commando’ (2013) sequel were unsure about who would fit into the film. Now, BizAsia has learnt that Esha Gupta has been signed as female lead.

Workshops for the film have lasted around two months but director Deven Bhojani and producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah were still looking for a leading lady who would be able to match Vidyut Jammwal in the action scenes. Gupta has been signed as one of two female leads.

The second leading lady will be announced in the coming days.
