Eros Now apologises over “distasteful” Navratri social media posts
Digital streaming giant, Eros Now has been forced to apologise after a series of controversial social media posts centred around Navratri.
The posts featured Bollywood stars Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Deepika Padukone, with taglines, which has resulted in huge upset among online users. Some have branded the posts “distasteful” and others tweeted that the company had made “mockery” of the festival.
The trend #BoycottErosNow has been trending for most part of the day, with users expressing their anger and hurt at the posts during the Navratri period.
