Sridevi’s much loved comeback film ‘English Vinglish’ (2012) has proved a runaway success at the Hong Kong box office, according to reports.
The film has emerged as the second biggest hit in the territory after ‘3 Idiots’ (2009). The Sridevi film raked in US $ 2,00,000.
A source told Mid-Day, The film released last month dubbed in Cantonese and English for the audience in Hong Kong. It had seven screens and 29 shows on a daily basis. In fact, the film is also going to be screened at The Director۪s Club, a venue that celebrates works by popular filmmakers.
