Movie reviewing just got classier with the launch of a brand new show, ‘Chicks on Flicks’, on Sony Entertainment Television Asia.

Ira Dubey and Neha Sareen double up as tandem movie reviewers to strike a notably charming chemistry on the show. Both Neha and Ira have a deep understanding of Hollywood films and are set to dissect and discuss, rip or idolize, and rate the movies they review.
Neha Sareen and Ira Dubey are two of India’s finest female talents who debut as film critics on the weekly Hollywood review show ‘Chicks on Flicks’, premiering Sunday 1st March 2009 at 19:30.

Speaking of the new show Rajan Singh, EVP International Business, Sony TV said, “As always, Sony TV is constantly trying to innovate, not just with new shows based on current formats, but also with completely reworked concepts. We understand that both the culture and interests of our viewers in, for example, the UK and USA would be different from those in the sub-continent, which is why we endeavor to provide relevant and exciting entertainment for the International market. ‘Chicks on Flicks’ has proved a huge success in India and this should resonate with our International viewers for whom Hollywood is something that South Asian television has never really touched upon_ until now”.

The show will feature reviews and ratings of the current Hollywood movies that hit the theatres as well as the latest DVD releases.

Neha and Ira will be reviewing and analyzing the movies and giving their opinions on which movies you films you must catch and ones you could miss. The half-hour show will be shot in a home theatre setting, where Neha Sareen and Ira Dubey get set to provide viewers with their in-depth, intelligent and insightful analysis about Hollywood movies.
