Emraan Hashmi unaffected by established actresses refusing ‘Azhar’

More often than not, actor Emraan Hashmi is seen pairing up with newcomer actresses for his movies. ��With established actresses such as Kareena Kapoor Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez refusing to play the role of Sangeeta Bijlani in the actor’s upcoming film ‘Azhar’, Hashmi��believes it should make no difference to the success of the film.

In an interview with��Mumbai Mirror, Hashmi said, “I just get on the sets and say my lines. ��If the film has an established actress, it will have more bums on the seat on a Friday. ��But I believe that a new animal in the zoo can also attract crowds.”

As reported by��BizAsia a few days ago, producer Ekta Kapoor is now on a nationwide hunt to search for a newcomer to play the controversial role. ��The film, which is a biopic on the life of cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin, will also star Prachi Desai.

Currently, Emraan Hashmi is busy promoting Vikram Bhatt’s ‘Mr X’, which is slated to release this coming Friday.
