Emraan Hashmi to star in ‘Harami: The Bastard’

Emraan Hashmi has been confirmed as the lead in a new project that will go by the name of ‘Harami: the Bastard’. It follows the story of an orphan pickpocket coming to terms with his ill-fated victim committing suicide, and consequently orphaning his daughter.

The film explores an interesting dynamic of an orphan creating another orphan, which alters the course of the thief’s life for the better as he attempts to make amends.

With Shyam Madiraju taking the reigns of the project under the production banner of Gobsmack Entertainment, the project has entered the filming stage.
