Emraan Hashmi to share ‘Azhar’ music profits

Filmmaking can be lucrative for many but it seems some actors are deciding to make money in a fairer way. BizAsia has learnt that Emraan Hashmi, who has been sharing the music profits of previous films, will be doing the same with the forthcoming ‘Azhar’.

A source spoke to Absolute India, “Emraan has been lucky when it comes to music of his films. Most of his films music has received huge popularity irrespective of the box office success of the film. The actor decided to take the music share looking at the past success record of his music. The actor got 50 per cent share which came to Rs 2.4 crore from his last release Humari Adhuri Kahani, which failed to make it big at the box office”.

The soundtrack of ‘Azhar’ has been composed by Pritam and will no doubt be a success with the audiences.
