Emraan Hashmi’s debut web series ‘Bard of Blood’ is also his first time working with Shah Rukh Khan. While Khan is a producer on the show and not a co-actor, Hashmi was still very pleased with this collaboration.
In an interview with DNA, Hashmi revealed that while Khan wasn’t present on set, he was still very involved in the project as a producer, “He didn’t come to Leh-Ladakh. Can’t expect him to come there as he was also shooting for ‘Zero’ (2018) at that point of time and it hadn’t released. Once the film released, he was on the edit, he was giving us some tips on it. We had a couple of interactions at his place, which was very, very, valuable for us, for the show. Of course, he’s been there as you know, the spine and force behind the show, overseeing things, which is very comforting.”
Produced by Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment, ‘Bard of Blood’ is available to stream on Netflix. The show stars Hashmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Kirti Kulhari, Vineet Kumar, Jaideep Ahlawat, Amyra Dastur and others.
