Emraan Hashmi replaces Diljit Dosanjh in ‘Baadshaho’

Milan Luthria directorial ‘Baadshaho’ has been making headlines due to casting difficulties. Previously, Pulkit Samrat had been replaced by Vidyut Jammwal and now news is that Emraan Hashmi has stepped into the shoes of Diljit Dosanjh.

The change means the popular trio of ‘Once Upon A Time in Mumbai’ (2010) fame, Luthria-Devgn-Hashmi, have reunited once again after a six year gap. Deccan Chronicle��reported Luthria sharing the following about his upcoming movie, “This is an explosive idea, based loosely on true events that transpired during the Emergency. The action and music are rustic and set in Rajasthan. I am thrilled to collaborate with Bhushan and Ajay, but I don�۪t want to reveal too much about the film at the moment, except to say that like my other films it will be a blend of action, humour, emotion and one liners. Rajat Aroraa has written the script, and Bhushan and I plan to produce the film on a grand scale.�۝

Dosanjh, popular singer and actor who dominates Punjabi Cinema and pop charts, made his Bollywood debut with ‘Udta Punjab’ last Friday. The Punjabi superstar��allegedly wanted to explore meatier roles in Bollywood and has already been signed opposite Anushka Sharma in her second home production, ‘Phillauri’.
