Emraan Hashmi started his acting career as a summer job working in his family production,’Footpath’ (2003). More than a decade on, the actor has managed to create his own space in Bollywood andis not aboutcompetition from colleagues.

“I have never really been bothered about what film anyone else is signing or stuff of that sort. I don’t even watch any of their films and I don’t want to sound arrogant when I say this but, honestly, I don’t run my race looking over my shoulders to see if my opponents are tripping. I am not insecure at all and hence I don’t wait for other actors’ films to bomb at the box-office,” Hashmi said toDNA India.

The actor has re-united with his debut film’s director, Vikram Bhatt, for his next release, ‘Mr X’. The film is of the sci-fi genre and slated to release on April 17th.

After ‘Mr X’, Hashmi will also be seen in Mohit Suri’s ‘Hamaari Adhuri Kahaani’ and Ekta Kapoor’s biopic on Mohammad Azharuddin.
