Not many actors are known to get involved in other aspects of their film, however after being a part of the business 10 years now, Emraan Hashmi felt that he was in the right position to make a suggestion to the music department for his upcoming ‘Ghanchakkar’.

According to reports, Hashmi heard a Sufi song called ‘Allah Meherbaan’ and liked it so much that he insisted for it to be included in the film. And though it was a very last minute entry, the music directors agreed. “I think we have a fantastic song. Raj (Kumar Gupta, director) and I discussed doing a video because the song is truly different. I think the audiences and my fans will love it. (Composer) Amit Trivedi has created a very different number. I had great fun shooting for it as well,” Hinudustan Timesreported theactor stating.

The song was so last minute, that Hashmi had to sacrifice his family time in order to shoot the song, as an insider explained, “Emraan was on vacation with his family. However, once the makers had the song ready, he cut his holiday short to shoot for it.”

Well if the song is that good, here’s hoping all that last minute planning is well worth it.
