Rumi Jaffery is bringing together Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi on the silver screen for his latest project. The unique casting is creating a lot of buzz amongst Bollywood trade analysts.
Curiously, Hashmi will be the second member of the Bhatt family to co-star with Bachchan, the first being Alia Bhatt. “Neither Mahesh Bhatt, Mukesh Bhatt nor Pooja have worked with Amitabh Bachchan before. But what is more interesting is the casting of Emraan with Bachchan. It is a very interesting cast and the trade is very curious about it,” a source told Sanskriti Media.
This project will be Jaffery’s fourth directorial after a long hiatus. His last film, ‘Gali Gali Chor Hai’ released in 2012.
